Lets talk seats.

This is for my 1975 F-100 Standard cab.

Bench seat, foam and fabric are done for, so it time for new seats.
I was thinking something from a newer car/truck/SUV. Maybe 2 buckets and a center arm-rest/console with cup holders and what not.

So, ideas? It doesn't have to be a ford seat, but something that wont require too much bracket fabricating.
I have a local Pick-a-part that has plenty to choose from.

Pics of what you have done?

Why not seats/console from a Bronco? I would think they would be a bolt in.

Just keep an eye on the *** to steering wheel measurements. If your a big dude some buckets can take up a lot of room. A lot of guys have done it with much success though.

I installed some seats from a Jeep Grand Cherokee I found in the Cash-For-Clunkers campaign into my 1981 F350, how I did it here:

I am going to be putting some seats in my truck here soon and the ones that I have found aren't to expensive (compared to other new ones). They are black vinyl seats. I'll put a link to them below. You will need to buy brackets and modify them so you aren't hugging the steering wheel. I'm 6'3" 265lbs stocky build and I look like a monkey F***ing a foot ball but that is because the guy didn't change the brackets at all. I would sit them lower and slid them back. Easy modification though.

Also, another thing you can do is look for a 04 or newer in a pick-and-pull and take the seats and console out of it and drop the bracket lower and they fit nicely. CRSweet did that in his truck. If you are interseted in that you should look at his thread on how is did so.

Any factory bench seat from a F-150 up through 1996 will fit just by reusing your truck's tracks bolted on.

I long ago swapped in late '80s Mercury Grand Marquis 50/50 front seats with split center arm rest, I had to fabricate track mounts.
