bucket seats

anyone tried putting bucket seats in to replace the bench seat. was thinking about doing this and maybe a small console in the center. Any suggestions on brand etc could really help

I have seen trucks with the same seats in a Supercab.I was also told it's the same seats that came in the Bronco Full Size. I have also seen power bucket seats from a Expedition Eddie Bauer Edition in a 80-86 Looked really nice and both were power seats, that's the seats I plan to put in my 86.

You can put about any bucket you want in, depending on how it mounts. Try to find one that the tracks bolt on, they work best, then get another set from another bench, or find a Bornco set and put them in. A console will finish it out, but the space between the seats isn't all bad to have sometimes either. I have an aftermrket setup I pulled from a parts truck, has a fold down console that stands up to make the seat go all the way across, it's pretty nice, pics are in my gallery under the silver 86.

What color is your interior? With the outside being red, those black and red seats would look sharp...

Definitely would look sharp with the red exterior. Had an old EXP that had red and black exterior, always thought it looked nice, the outside was silver though...

Check with upholstery shops, they may be able to make something up for you.
