F450 issues

So I have a F450 2008. I put american force 22.5 rims and then large tires on it. My issue is at 52 and above I am getting a ton of vibration. And also some back and forth motion in the steering wheel. I put dual steering stabilizers on the truck and also have had the tires road forced balanced. Now granted I know its a 450 and with the large tires and rims its going to ride like crap. But The vibration is not supposed to be there. Its bad enough that when I ride down the interstate it will vibrate a ladder out of the back of the truck. Now the kicker is when I am hauling a heavy load it doesnt have the vibration. So for those who will say just always carry a load that isnt a option. Also I know something is off with the front end because the front tires are scolloping out. Does anyone have any suggestions. I would like to beable to ride faster than 50.

Next does anyone have a 450 that they have put american force 22.5 rims and larger tires on and if so how does it ride and handle. To me mine feels like a log cart and also like the front suspension is wore out.

The truck is not made for 22's. take them off and drive it with the factory wheels and tires and ill bet your issues will go away. I wouldn't be suprised if you trashed something in the suspension running such large heavy tires.

Thats not the solution I was looking for. I want to keep the look of the large rims and tires. I hate the small factory baby rims and tires.

It's your alignment. Ford some time ago sent a notice to the dealers to help people who have wobble or steering issues with their trucks. The recommendation is to adjust the caster under 2 degrees, the lower the better. My brother-in-law has been doing this for some time now and has good results and people are saying it feels like a different truck. He has been setting them at 1.8, that seems to be the magic number. I had mine checked the other day, the caster is at 4.3. Yikes, no wonder it feels like I'm driving with two flat tires.

that makes sense. I will try that. I guess I will have the wheels balanced again also to make sure nothing has changed.

With 22.5 inch wheels, you should probably be looking at using balancing beads instead of weights to balance the wheel/tire combination.
