I have a 2006 screw 4x4 and have put 2 different style of rims and tires but cannot get rid of it. When the stocks are on the, the truck rides great.. The rims are 20" one set had 2 types of tires and still the same.....HELP
I coulda sworn there was a TSB out on a Steering Nibble...or shimmy/wobble (?)
Maybe that was the '04-'05 models?

Have you had the tires road force balanced with any set? Get that done and it should help clear up the problem. There is more information here on the board that details it.
My guess is if the problem is not seen with factory wheels, but is seen with aftermarket wheels, Ford might not go to great lengths to solve the problem.
Can't say I'd blame them. If any aftermarket items lead to problems, then the vehicle manufacturer is liable to tell you "don't use the aftermarket parts."

Check the wheels. Eithe the wheels are not perfectly round and may have a slight bend in them. Go to a wheel shop and have them look at it.
