6.0 trouble

6.0 trouble
Started this morning just fine. Dropped off kid at day-care and would not start. Got a jump and fired backedup (might have left the fog lights on during the night).
I drive it for about 5-6 miles on the freeway, and after that the wrench lights comes on and at around 2K rpm it drops by 200 or so revs back up and does this every now and then (was able to pass the 2-2.5Krpm range).
Get to work, put it in neutral and spools just fine (just on try). turn it off, but the key in the ignition and the wrench light is gone.
I changed the turbo back in May and although i don't use it often it did get a few 2K miles since (a lot towing a 10K horse trailer).
Not very cold here 45f
Any ideas? just a a fluke due to the batteries?
