Hi, My door lock doesn't work very well. It is VERY hard to turn the key, both ways. It broke the plastic piece behind it, it hooks to a vertical metal rod. I replaced the plastic piece, and switched locks. So it's not the lock cylinders. What does the metal vertical rod hook to, that's making it hard to unlock the door?
I had the same problem. In mine, the actuators for the power locks were frozen. I unhooked the actuators, but left the connection between the key and the actual lock, so I now just have non-power locks, but it's better than no locks at all.

Had both this problem and stuck key lock mechanisms on my truck when I got it. Since you replaced the locks already I'd put money on the actuators being your problem.

You might try taking them off the door and letting them soak over night to see if that helps. LMC has them but at that price I'd suggest trying a junk yard and see if you could find some in good shape there. Hell I'd just get another door before I payed that.

I've soaked that type of stuff in PB Blaster or CLP in the past to get things loosened up and had good results. Just take a plastic jug/bowl put the part in it and put enough in to cover the part and let it sit overnight or a day or 2 as needed. That usually does it, and if it doesn't you're usually just out of luck and need to replace.
