I had a drop in liner on my last truck. When I took it out, it had scratched the devil out of my bed. I have a LineX in my new one. It has faded a little, but I like it a lot better.
I have Line-X in my '08 but am considering a '13. May I ask why you didn't get the Ford factory spray-in?
Chuck
Didn't come from the factory with one... I bought mine off of the dealer lot... They only offer Rhino guard at the same price as I can get it... My dads F250 came with the bed liner but a plastic tail gate piece which I didn't like...

Hi Chuck, several reasons for Line-X over factory. The prices are about the same, I think it's a better liner, and Line-X has a lifetime warranty, Ford liner does not. Purchasing Line-X puts a few bucks into the local economy which is a good thing.
Well I have decided to go with the Line-X liner, after all the reviews and how much people like them it is hard not to... I am going to call the two closest to ke and see what I can get for prices... going to start a new thread on truck caps now...
Got a price quoted of $525 out the door cash price with UV.... Set my appointment for 8am Friday morning! I think I did good, I will be adding a cap to the truck also but wanted to keep the liner looking good uv might not be necessary but figured I would get it anyhow...
You will not be disappointed. It great and keeps thing from sliding around in the bed too.
Yes that will be nice, I took my tractor to the dealership today and had my chain and binders to haul it. I put the chains and binders in the bed and I cringe when I hear the metal on metal... It will be nice to dull that sound a little!

You would freak out if you saw what they do to your box paint job before they spray the bed liner. They have to take a wire wheel to the shiny glossy finish and dull it down so the polyurethane and liner material will stick. Makes me sick to think about it.

So I guess you dont have a bed liner? I know they scuff it up, but I want it to stick good!

Not yet. Every time I come up with the money, something happens that needs the money more. I have had two spray-in liners on previous trucks. I like em. I also had a plastic insert bed liner and as far as durable, it was tougher than the spray-in because it provided a different surface so when you dropped something it didn't dent the box. But, stuff slid all over. Some day I will get a spray-in.
For those with the Line X, do you carry rocks, wood, logs, metal, car parts, etc and have you ever gotten an "out" ding or dent in the sides of the bed?
AND.......
If you have the fold out grab handle and had a factory plastic liner and take it out for the Line X, does the grab handle/arm stick up preventing you from sliding stuff in and out?

They told me that it takes about 20 minutes linger if you have the step and grab handle for the line x....
