Overdrive lockout won't work

While camping last weekend my overdrive lockout quit working. My truck is a 1993 F-250 with 351 V-8. I can't find a fuse for this and am wondering if there is a relay or something. I really don't want to have to pull the shift lever out and replace whatever is in there.

Quite often the wiring to the button on the shift lever goes bad. Take the plastic shrouds off from around the steering column and look at the wiring where it exits the shift lever.
