hey guys i have on 02 f350 ambulance and i have an issue with not knowing what this part is called by the way nether any one down here in BFE can they tell me. its a suspention part that has one bushing on each side right underneth the rear leaf spring.one end is conneted to the same braket as the leaf (front of) and the rear of the bar is coneted to the diff right in the middle of the u bolt. one bolt and nut holds each side in. i really hope i explaind this properly becouse i sound like a bumb a** explaining this lol well hope some one can help thanks
truther words have never been skopen i just cant load any pics to this comp due to its a 911 comp but no its not those its just a straight bar with bushing on each side about 2 ft all toghether pin that goes inside bushing for the bolt. hope i helped a bit more sry any more guesses thanks tho
Sounds like it might be a radius rod installed by the Ambulance builder to help combat axle wrap under hard acceleration. There was a member that used to make a version for the Excursions to cure their weak factory rear springs that will wrap up when the go pedal is mashed. Try contacting the body builder (if they are still around) for info or parts. If you are just trying to replace some worn bushings you might want to try contacting Energy Suspension with the sizes and dimensions of what you need, they most likely will have some poly bushings to fit the application.
Are they something like this? Just with bushings in place of the heim joints?
thier kinda look someting like that but a heela lot shorter from u bolt to front mount of the leaf spring, but thanks ill probalbly contact them to see if they have them
