Ok..so ive got a couple of 337's now..so what was the transmission that came on the back of these bad boys in the trucks?I know it was a 5 spd..does anyone have a make/model number? also..in the lincoln form with manual trans..was there a half bell to convert to the big round 8 bolt 8ba style trans side housing or was it a bellhousing more like a late style unit with the input bearing retainer hole and a four bolt pattern to mount the trans like a toploader?
any pics would really help,i'm needing to mount it to a 42 truck four speed with the cast integral bell with the 8 bolt pattern..
I love to have one of those again. anyways transmission= Clark 5sd dir or Od.
4th and 5th only gears with syncros. All clarks that series will fit like I got a
49 5sp od in a 391 1954 a 1965 clark 5sp od in a 1953 also a 391.
