Is the valve cover gasket removal nessacary for the gp removal though like he mentioned ? I don't see why it would be, id just hate to remove it and encounter a problem douring removal or install. I don't have a problem removing it just don't want nothing to break lol. FIRST TIMER HERE and its at 230kmi and i can imagine things are brittle

Other than that, its fairly straight forward and I'm certain it will go fine....... All thanks to y'all and FTE
You don't have to remove the VC gaskets. Use a few finger tight VC bolts to keep them in place while you work on the GPs. Keep track of where the VC bolts with the top studs go back in. You should unplug the UVCH and look at the pins. Make sure the center pin isn't getting burnt. If you are going to do the 50 cent mod you have to pull them apart anyway. There is nothing real complicated, just time consuming.

How did the wrenching go??

Sorry for missing the 101 to 109 question. I will have to look at my box if I still have it. Must be 101 though since mounts are off 90'.

Couple of weeks and its still nice and tight. $23 for the GPR 101

Get a 12v test light, 1 side in always 12v. The opposite after key is on will be 12v also.

My relay didn't click to switch power over. Bingo, that GPR was my problem. No power 2 the GP's.

Check it out. FWIW I wood change GP's while VC's off it my truck.

Later

I paid like 79.00 for my Napa GPR110 is there a major difference other than price?

I believe the bracket is the only difference. It is clocked differently.

Ok I looked at my box. Napa GPR109 is what I bought for my 2000 F250.

Under $25 but the mounting holes are off 90 degrees. Like said above, mount with only 1 bolt.

Checked mine 2day while adding the LED. Nice and Tight.

Not sure of the difference's, sorry
