Has anyone seen this make of heater b4?. It was in my truck when I purchased it and always thought it was stock. However the repair manual only shows two models for the F1 in 1950 and this aint either. Ive watched EBAY to see if I could find one like it just for identification purposes, but none have turned up so far. Ive replaced the motor, fan, and checked for leaks, so now all i have to do is make it as pretty as I can, and reinstall useing AN fittings and hose.
Really no telling.
Just my thought, but alot of these came with no heater. Alot had heaters added after being bought.
Who's to say that's not a 47 Dodge heater, or 56 Chevy heater, or an aftermarket company?
Just something to think about while Ford did offer them, my thought is most are aftermarket, and I could see some coming out of a car/truck from a junkyard cause it would work.
Likely an aftermarket or dealer installed heater......it's unbelievable how many different styles of heaters were made and sold in the '30's and '40's. I have not seen that particular one before, but many similar ones.
The heater poses a good question for me. I am thinking of some sort of heater, My truck did not have one, It was built for FL. Keith's fire Patrol has an electric. If I were to do a hot water one, where would one start looking. The cut out are already in the fire wall

I have several "add on" heaters available. They are not specific to your truck, but they simply bolt to the firewall. Pm me if interested. Your truck was available with a factory installed heater though, which might work better if you can find one.
