Keyless entry code- number pad on door

I forget the exact buttons you press to reprogram. But once you get the original code the dealer or online you'll be able to find the process. You enter the factory code then press something to enter program mode then enter your new code if I remember right.

Wow...what a rip! For a 30 second procedure, it's funny they'll offend a would-be customer for 'policy'.

Never ceases to amaze me how people don't keep this sort of info. It comes on a little handy credit card style card in the owners manual. I made two copies, one stays in my maintenance & receipts folder and one is hidden in the truck in a laminated sheet. The original card is in my safe. When I sell or trade my truck, all that goes with it.

Yeah, in my case, bought it used and no code. Now that I have it, I wrote it on the inside of the door jam.
