The previous owner that traded this truck in left me no literature in the truck and no one knew the unlock code for the key pad on the door. Anyone know if I can get that myself or is that something that only a dealer can read ?
I found the literature on ebay but I dont have it yet and still doubt that it will tell me if there is a way to get that code.

Without the original factory code, only a dealer can re-program. Ford customer service MAY have records.
Several different threads have addressed this issue. They have all come up with the same answer. The code is located on the fuse block behind the passenger kick panel. You need to remove the fuse block because the sticker is on the back of the block. I have never checked this.

Interesting. If I can get to it tommorrow I will let you know.
In the Ford Factory Service Manual it states that the key code is stamped on the PCM somewhere. So if you dont find it behind the fuse panel check the PCM.

Where is the pcm located. Do I have to remove the cab to get to it?
I will vouch for it being on the back of the PCM as well. Ive had two 08's a gasser and a diesel and thats where I got my code from on both. Kind of a pain to get to but its there. You will prob see ALOT of numbers but look for the 5 digit number. There maybe more than one so try them all until you find the magic one!! goodluck
The PCM is located behind the airbox where the air filter goes. You will have to pull the airbox out and then theres two red latches you pull and it comes out. However, it appears the code has been found by others behind the radio, so I'd try that first. Good luck
maybe i am calling the pcm incorrectly but i thought the pcm was located under glove box on passenger side foot kick. peel back the plastic trim and there is a module with alot of wires going into it. remove screws holding it in place and look on the back side for numbers.
I've watched several videos on how to locate this code on YouTube. Just search "keyless entry ford expedition" or something similar and you should find some videos addressing this. I haven't tried their methods but at least it shows a demonstration which you can try.
It's on the sjb box I think they call it behind the passenger kick panel where the fuses are. I found mine there and got mine reprogrammed. You need to remove it to get the number on the back side. It's the black box.

Yea, I have been real busy so I havent made any progress with this. Though I am interested in how you were able to reprogram the code. Im almost thinking about maybe disconnecting it after seeing how quickly you can run all the factory codes on it.
