PS pressure hose fitting size?
Well, my work van is in the shop for repairs and I'm minus a bunch of my good tools. I tried to pull the fitting off, but all of my crows foot wrenches are.. in the van and none of my wrenches were short enough to get in there to loosen it.
What size is the head on that fitting? I plan on stopping by the dealer tomorrow and getting the seals and a new reservoir cap (got lost in the black hole of my shop somehow, and it's clean now!)
And see if I have the right crows foot, I think all mine are standard and I think the fitting is metric. On a side note, anyone have experience with the Autozone Duralast steering boxes? A little hesitant to use them. Trying to talk the wife into letting me get that Red Head box.
to replace it every-time you turn around.
The fittings will be metric and you should use a flair nut crows foot.
Your best bet is Red-Head Steering Gears, Seattle WA - Red-Head Steering Gears Home
They rebuild some very good replacements.

Gonna order a Red Head box as soon as I can get the funds.
Bought a nice set of metric line crows foot wrenches at sears. Was at the ford dealer for work and decided to replace the Cap and get the seals for the high pressure line. Well, I thought the cap looked a little big and I was right. Completely wrong. Wish I could figure out what happened to the original one..
Edit: I found the cap! It was hiding very well underneath the ABS assembly. Had to remove the air box and do some contortionist moves to get it! Woho! Saved 15 bucks!
