tried the e-z out people suggested would work.. but hasnt come out.. and all i did was manage to bend the tool that holds onto the e-zout... and the wrenches just round off the corners on it...
Im betting if you use a pipe wrench it will bite into that tool and I'll bet you can twist it out, just make sure you have the pipe wrench as close to the HCFM as you can and push the pipe wrench into the easy out as you begin to turn so it bites in.

i had vice grips on it and all they were doing was rounding off the end.. and before that i had the actual tool that goes onto it... bent that all outta shape... this plug seems to want to really stay in there...

The thing about a pipe wrench is the harder you push on it the tighter the bite gets and it will grip much tighter than a pair of vicegrips

Just make sure to get the pipe wrench as close to the plug as possible and not out on the end of the easy out.

I work in a power plant and have found many uses for pipe wrenches about the only thing I have seen them not be able to bite into is hardened chrome shafts.

i thought about applying as a welder for the nuke plant here... paying $35 hr.. + clothes budget... but only reason they were going to pay that and the budget for clothes was because they wanted coffin welders... id rather weld the non-radioactive parts...

Nuke power is the way to go, only the best and brightest work in nuke facilities. Coal fired and gas turbine plants are next on the list as far as wages go. Im in operations and I enjoy that. Operations in coal fired start at around 35 an hour and in hydro electric they start in the mid 20's

havent tried yet today... had to do that "Work" thing today... gonna grab some of that LocTite Freeze and Release on the way home too... supposedly itll shock freeze stubborn nuts and bolts down to -45*F breaking any corrosion and making them easy to remove.. figure its worth a shot at the very least... if it and the pipe wrench dont work ill bite the $100 bullet and the part from WADE MMT/PSD... just waiting for the clock to tick down the last 30 mins so i can get out of here
