i am wanting to do a stack exhaust kit instead of the normal stuff. is there anything that yall could give me tips on? and downsides to it vs. a normal exhaust system?
I think they look awesome, but I don't plan on doing it to mine. I am trying to add things to quiet mine down now. Have enjoyed the loud diesel for a while, now want to make it easy to talk in the cab when cruising down the highway.
as far as the exhaust goes,I didn't eve have to cut mine ( Banks monster 4")..
Got my parts from Truck PRO, used 18" of flex exhaust..I don't care for the Y pipe in the bed so I did this.
Just used a 4x6" steel tube.. and love the sound..one thing I did was cut the tube where the exhaust inters and put a divider in it
