You guys are understating it's condition. That thing is in AMAZING shape for the miles. That is a hard working tow/work truck. Most work trucks are all banged up inside and out after only 100K.
On another note it's nice to see huge miles on a 6.4, even if it does have a blown head gasket.
Besides the visual signs, think about what a tow truck goes through every day... They're always sitting around idling, waiting for dispatch to call out, or listening to police scanners, they're almost always in suburban areas, stop & go traffic, they idle when they get to an accident and wait to draw for who gets the job, they're driven hard since they have to rush to get to accidents and other calls, if it was used for repo as well, they're driving from place to place checking out leads on vehicle locations, idling waiting for target vehicle. Everything we all say a 6.4 is no good for.
nice find. Gotta be OE engine, if it wasn't they would say so with that mileage. That's great but I'll bet it was tuned and deleted. No way to know though.
Looks nice for the amount of miles and abuse.
I definitely wouldn't think it'd be going for that if it needs a whole new engine, or at least an overhaul.. Who knows how long it's been driven like that.
But still pretty cool. I think it's deleted though for sure judging by how black the tailpipes are.
Gives me some faith on how long mine will last!
