Help needed
First off, any AOD transmissions out there you want to get rid of...?
An AOD compared to a C6, what 's the difference other than the overdrive?
If I cant find an AOD I can get a C6, but, will it use the same mounts?
I noticed it has a vacuum mod on it also..

You'd have better luck posting this in the forum for the truck instead of the engine. Get a lot more coverage that way.
But, the way I understand it, they're a direct swap. There's no electronics to worry about, so pull one off and put the other one on. I think both are pretty stout (although the C6 maybe a little more, but not sure).
The only difference may be the length, which would require a different length driveshaft.
