filter question

Would a 7.3 fuel filter work on a 6.9 idi. Id like to see about using one for its ability as a water separater.

The 7.3 filter will not screw onto the 6.9 head. But you could install the 7.3 head in place of the one on your 6.9 and be good to go.

I dont know the part number, but NAPA sells a filter that will work on a 6.9 FF head that is a FF/ water seperator. Its kinda pricey, about the same as a 7.3 filter.

there ya go.that sounds like the ticket then.as long as it has a drain.
they last 60k miles or 48 months whichever comes first.so paying a bit more for expensive ip/injector protection would be extremely wise.
