back window
Hello all, I have a 1988 f350, it has a solid back window, I was wondering if I could put a sliding back window in, if that would work how would I go about this? Any help/tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks a lot

I've read that you can use a window from any 80-96 F series with the only difference being the gasket and trim. If not, then surely the 87-96 would work.
Those windows are pretty easy to remove and replace using the rope trick.
Google "replace rear glass in truck" and you'll see some good examples.

Actually the rear window is the same from 1973 to 1996(1997 on 250-350) and the aftermarket windows use the solid glass weatherstrip. The aftrmarket ones are better made than the factory one- the factory ones have prblems with the latch breaking and/or the frames coming apart.
