So i'm gettin tired of the rough ride and low (to me) stance, so i'm thinking i'll probably get a RSK in the near future from Sky Manufacturing. My question is, if i go with the 3" RSK, will i need to lift the back end any, or will it sit level. I don't want that baja look where the front is higher than the rear. If anyone has any pictures of their truck with the 3" RSK from Sky, i would greatly appreciate it if you would post them. It's just easier to see what i'm gonna end up with IMHO. Another question, if I was to go with the 5" RSK, would i need to lift the back then as well? Thanks in advance!
Im prob not the best one to answer. I did a 3" RSK from sky and used 2003 superduty leaf springs upfront. And used Stock F350 rear blocks from 1997. Ill take the ride of my other stock F250 any day!
Not the best picture.
so yours rides worse with the RSK and SD springs than stock, or you just have a really smooth f250? lol are the rear blocks different from 94-97 on the f350's or is it just different from f350 to f250?
Where you been hidin Daniel! I would say with the 3" or 5" you'll have to lift the rear accordingly.
I been really busy man! That combined with my lack of funds has done a decent job of keepin me off here. lol Seems every time I come on here I wanna buy something. LMAO But right now i'm makin more money, so i figure it's a good time to start doin what i've meant to do for a while.
Yeah, I was thinking it would need some sort of lift, but wanted to double check. Since my front end sits a bit lower than the back, I wasn't sure if it would level out or sit higher in the front. I'm thinkin if you for sure have to lift the back regardless, I might as well go with the 5".
do you think the 3" will clear 37's? right now i've got 16.5 wheels, so i figure it's cheaper to just go with humvee tires instead of buy new rims AND tires. but if i stick with humvee tires, I have to have enough lift to clear them...
haha,THANKS gabe! Its not that nice,it just takes a good pic if you know what i mean. I DO LOVE IT THOUGH!!!!!!
One of these days I will get around to painting the shell to match also. That I cant wait for.The materials just for color and clear are 200$,I have the primer already.
