Seat swap

I am planning to install the bucket seats and center console from a 2001 Excursion into a 1989 F-450 single (standard) cab. The 450 has a bench seat that is worn out. Has anyone done this before? Are there any weird difficulties with this swap? I am aware that I will need to run power to the excursion ltd seats for the power adjustment features. Any other thoughts?

You may want to post this in the OBS Ford Truck section. They are more familiar with your truck. As for the Excursion seats, the do ha e a series of relays for the seats, so make sure they get connected in the right order. You may also have to shim up the center console since the tranny hump on the OBS Ford is shorter than the super duties near the front, and near flat at the rear.

Good luck!
