Alternator not charging, help!.

Well, it's solved, I replaced the brushes and it's working just fine. Check the link for a picture of the old brushes, one was gone...

Ok, problem solved, the worn slip ring created an arc that burned the regulator. I got a new rotor (they just won't sell you the slip ring alone around here) with a new rear bearing and a new regulator and now it's all working just fine, $44 spent including labor, I took the alternator to their shop. Also added some washers (2 per bolt) under the alternator and now the sepentine belt has a perfect/tight fit.
