A chip and programmer?
I have an 03 f350 7.3 6spd truck. It had an edge evolution in it from the previous owner, well it stopped working the one day (whole screen went black). I dont have a receipt so I couldnt get it warrantied from them. So I just went and bought a TS 6 position (had one in my old truck, really liked it). And also bought the TS MPD monitor with heads up display.
Anyhow, my question is.....Am I going to mess up the ECU by unhooking the edge and plugging in the TS? Remember I couldnt turn the edge back to stock since the monitor quit working.

The TS chip will overwrite what is on the truck PCM, including the Edge programming. You won't harm anything, and you won't cause any conflict by doing this. Just be sure you don't have the keys in the ignition when you install or remove the TS chip or you will fry the computer.
