I have an 2002 explorer XLT with multiple problems first was the blend air door would not stop flapping. It took a while and a sore neck but was able to do a temp. fix by holding down the switch under the dash til it locked in. also my 4x4 is in 2w but the 4x4L light stays on but real dim tried every thing that I can think of but it will not shift in or out and light does not change. even tried ti disconnect the battery for about 20 min. but no change and now all of a sudden when the suv sits more than a couple of minutes it won't start. battery voltage reads 12.5. If I use a booster bat. it starts or if I put a charger on it it starts. It is driving me nuts. I had heard something about a nylon bushing on the shift motor shaft coming apart causing the sensor not to be able to find what gear it is in. can someone help?
