Another lift thread.

After having found the search function here useless(I'm lazy ok). I'm now posting a thread on lifting my truck. It's a 1985 F250 XLT Lariat. I'm feeling like 33 inch tires are a good compromise for size. I would like better than stock ride quality if it's reasonably affordable. I'm probably going to keep the truck for a couple years and put a lot off miles on it. I want to stay away from blocks because they just seem like bull**** to me. So I'm going all suspension lift. I have access to a hoist and a shop with mechanics to help me if needed. I want to do this right so nothing wears out fast and leaves me stranded in the woods. The truck is going to see a lot of highway miles. I would like a 6 inch lift or maybe 4 if it's way easier for some reason. The motivation for this is basically because all the 4x4s I see for sale are lifted with blocks/ have something wrong with the steering and I'm not interested in backyard bull****. The lift will happen soon and I will post pics and update my progress. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

A four inch lift is more than enough for 33 inch tires ( atwo inch body lift would probably be enough). You will probably need to extend your brake hoses (a 6" lift will definately require longer hoses).
You will most likely need to lenghten both front and rear driveshafts. You may need a drop down pitman arm. You will need longer shocks. If you have a front/rear sway bar you will need to lower the mounting brackets.

I did a 4" suspension lift and a 3" body lift and had to do all of the above.

There is nothing wrong with blocks in the rear. Never use blocks in the front.

You shouldnt have to lengthen your driveshafts if your only going with a 6" lift, but everything else that was previosly mentioned will be required. With a 4" lift, you will be able to clear 35s without issue. My 81 clears 33x12.50s with zero rubbing on factory suspension

Then what lift kit comes with everything I need. I'm not having blocks on my truck anywhere. No body lift! All suspension!. I'm doing it for ground clearance/look, not for tire clearance.

Check out Jeff's Bronco Graveyard. They offer lift kits from Superlift or something like that. Some of the kits they have feature all spring, and no blocks.
