Muffler
I got my muffler today and installed it. I'm amazed! Looking at it, it's just a 4" Tube surrounded by some baffling...looks kinda' like a sop to the law, but, it makes a dramatic difference in the sound! Much quieter! No way it can increase back pressure. I'm impressed! Still runs like a striped a**ed ape!

After running straight piped for over two years I finally installed the small MBRP muffler. You are correct, for a straight thru muffler It sure got quiet...almost too quiet!
In a way I miss the straight pipe sound, but I'm sure my neighbors would disagree ...

Which muffler did you purchase? I installed the walker BTM and while it definitely opened it up I have a drone when letting of the gas at hghway speeds. I'm thinking of going just straight pipe.

I got a genuine chrome plated 4" Pac Brake Performance muffler, normally 149.99-only 65.99 yesterday only! What a deal, huh!? Never heard of it before, but, since I could have gotten my exhaust system for about the same price with or without a muffler...I just looked for the cheapest good looking deal I could find and it seems to be a quality unit...thick walls, good welds, pretty inside and out...can't go wrong, right?
