Many shops claim (including many Ford dealers) that the alignment specifications for the NASCAR are the same as a regular F150. After getting a factory manual, I found that they are quite different. The following are the alignment specifications for the NASCAR straight from the 1998 Ford Truck Service Manual CD -
Alignment Specifications - F-150 NASCAR 4x2
LH - Caster - 7.3 +/- 1.0
LH - Camber - -0.3 +/- 0.7
LH - Toe ---- 0.03 +/- 0.15
Total/Split (LH & RH) - Caster - -0.8 +/- 0.7
Total/Split (LH & RH) - Camber - 0 +/- 0.7
Total/Split (LH & RH) - Toe - 0.06 +/- 0.25
RH - Caster - 7.8 +/- 1.0
RH - Camber - -0.3 +/- 0.7
RH - Toe ---- 0.03 +/- 0.15
No, that is NOT a typo on the left & right caster, they ARE different.
