Re wire glow plugs
i recently swapped my 351 for a 6.9 in 92 f 350. now i can fire it up by holding the glow plug wires on battery and positive realy on firewall for 10 or so seconds to fire up truck. also i have to have a constant wire connection to the injection pump. My question is how can I wire it manually with a push release button from inside cab? Or is it easier to find a wire new or used wire harness from the same truck but a diesel? thanks if people can help us out.

plenty of people have used a simple starter solenoid wired to a pushbutton in the cab to control their plugs, either because they didn't like the factory controller, or didn't like the price tag on a replacement.
for the wire to the fuel pump, that is required, and should be easy to tap into the wire that originally powered the truck's ignition system.
