I would like to remove my radio and replace it with a after market radio. What special tools do i need to remove the factory radio. I noticed it has like 4 holes where it looks like you put something in there....
Also do i remove the black trim around the radio after I take it out, or befor?

You need a tool to remove it but you can take a wire hanger and bend it into a U shape and poke both ends in there to unlock the tabs and then pull it out. That's what I use.
Don't forget to get the wiring harnass for the radio and the speakers. If you're going to replace the factory radio might as well go all out and replace the factory speakers. Also, you are going to need an adapter kit to go in the nice big hole that is going to be left after you remove the factory radio unit. As far as the black trim goes, you don't need to do anything with that. You should have plenty of room to hookup the new radio without removing the trim that goes around the a/c vent, radio, and a/c controls. Hope this helps. Just wanted to make sure I didn't forget anything.
I highly recommend Crutchfield's for aftermarket equipment. They have a wide selection with decent pricing and some good sales. All replacement head units come with wiring harness adapters and the adapter kits for no extra charge. I agree, you should replace the speakers as well. Crutchfield speakers also come with wiring adapters. Check them out at: www.crutchfield.com
I forgot to mention, Crutchfield includes the romoval tool as well. You might get a better price somewhere else but when you add it all up it's hard to beat.
Sounddomain.com is also a great site for car audio. Usually cheaper than Crutchfield. I personally had always used Crutchfield but the last time I bought speakers, I got the same model from Sounddomain for $10.00 cheaper.
Hey guys I got the radio out, I went up to the local stero shop and the guy just poped it right out for me. I did get the wire adapters for my new after market headunit, and I did allready replace the door speakers with some brandspanking new infinities. BTW taking needles off your gage cluster and putting them back on accuractly is a BITCH....

Yeah, my word of advice: don't do it. I was thinking about putting a white guage face in but decided against and put a bezel on it instead. Too much of a hassle.
Bha the radio was such a bitch... I could no use any of the factory **** with an aftermarket headunit... I had to bypass the amp totaly..... So what I ended up doing in the end was useing another amp I had for the door speakers... God it was a pain...
