Tranny park problems

Recently, my 2001 F350 refuses to go to park. I have to start it in neutral. The transmission works fine, just can't get it in park. Is there an adjustment for this (with video or pics, I'm dumb)?

Is the shifter loose? If so, it might simply need to be tightened up. Take the bottom cover off and tighten the screws up. I don't know much more than that. But it may help.

I had a problem once where I couldn't down shift the trans all the way to first. It ended up being a rock in between the switch on the side of the trans. Looked around there, pulled it out and all was good. I hope yours is also so simple.
