Was wondering if anyone had a good idea were I could get a cheap gooseneck? I have done some google searches and I am only getting ones that cost over 200. So any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am watching a few auctions, but I need to get one by this weekend. I got tow a trailer. I am going to put this 5.4 to the test. Should be interesting to. I am going to tow a 2,000 lbs trailer with a 1200 lbs shed on it. There will be hill for the first part of the tow so i am interested in seeing if this 5.4 has the power to do it.
before you buy one, make sure you have installation lined up.
the shops around here won't touch them.
i don't think they are that hard to install, just make sure you attach it to the frame, not just the bed. although, for 3200lbs, you can probably get away with just about anything.
no chance of finding a bumper pull type trailer? weight is not your enemy here, only the size of the shed.

I can get a couple different trailers but none of them are tilt bed except the gooseneck. I have a fifth wheel mounting brackets already installed in the bed so i was just going to mount it there.
mounts to 5th wheel rails.
maybe your local RV store has one or can get it by the weekend?
Yeah I saw that somewhere, but not that cheap. Also I didn't even think about calling the RV places to see if they have one I can rent or buy for cheap thanks.
Well if that is the case stick around I will be doing alot of upgrades once I start my new job. The truck I have is a XLT and the PO decided to put kingranch badges on it and i plan to make it look like one.
