Steering - Boxes, Stabilizers etc.
I have what I perceive to be a little bit of "play" in the steering. It is really not bad, but I notice it. I put about 1/2 turn on the steering box which helped. I don't seem to wander on the road ( I don't tow) and I dont notice any "kick" or bump steering. In that regard it feels much more stable going over RR tracks and things since the lift.
I was led to beleive that dual steering stabilizers are used more to dampen bump steering or death wobble.
So, should I tighten up a bit more or look at getting in on the redhead buy or would the extra stabilizer help any ?
Secondary ? : what would most shops charge to install the box for me ?
Thanks for any help

If you have what feels like play in the wheel and the tie rods and ball joints are ok, then your steering box is probably showing wear. Steering stabilize did very little for me - definitely didn't fix the play.
Here is the information needed to order.
