Real small towns are like that but the bigger cities bug me. I`m happy to live where I do, not too close and not too far away with pavement almost by my door step.
I don't care for big cities, I was born and raised in Toronto and was glad to get out of it and this small town living wasn't too bad until the iron ore mine closed and more than half the people left and businesses closed.
What`s the name of your town, how big is it and ia it the ecomony starting to pick up? From what little I`ve heard so far that as our western Canadian economy starts to slow down the eastern ecomony is supposed to pick up.
Well, at least you have that. Our nearest town is Clavet 6 miles away...no fishing there but there is a large auto wrecker there that likes to keep the old stuff as long as they can.
I pay 3 grand and have 2 60X 120 foot lots then pay another 2 grand for water and sewer, we have a hardware store, 2 motels, 2 grocery stores that rob you blind for rotten produce and of course the liquor store for all the alcoholics in town,,,
