Arrowhead fred: I finally got registered and hopefully this works! How and where does the center brace of the visor attach to the truck? You say that the wing has to be cut 1 3/8" to fit, is that cut in the middle? Hope to hear from you soon, so I know it will fit my 50 F1. Thanks, Ron

Welcome aboard RON' You can ask most anything here and someone knows the answer. Here are afew pics. of the brackets and were they mount.. In the pics. were you see my finger is the point of measurement [end of dip rail to first screw] Can't find my tape right now.Center bracket is made to fit a cadi. but fits these old fords with alittle help . Top fits great and the bottom will sit up about 1/2 inch thats were bushings off of a shock come in to play [as you see in the pics.]. 4 screw hold the center bracket to the roof. The wings need to be cut down but you will never see were its cut because its between the upper and lower center peices. Order of installment go like so: Mount the side brackets /take a measurement from one side to the other/put the visor together take a measurement / take it apart cut it to fit and mount it to the side brackets. Then dry fit the center bracket mounting it to the visor ONLY. Mark the holes remove and drill . I used tap cons. You will need to make two plates with sloted holes to mount visor to bracket. [AS SEEN IN PICS.] Hope this helps ya.
after looking at my past postings you will have to cut more then 1 3/8 off the visor. MORE LIKE 6'' Thats 3 off each side. But as you can see it will fit your 1950 ford. MEASURE TWICE CUT ONCE !!!! My email is dale.kent23@yahoo.com
Thanks for the info Fred...Well, I pushed the "Buy it Now" button at Ebay this AM. So it looks like I'm the new owner of a Fulton visor. I can't believe that "The War Dept." went for this so easily...I'm getting nervous now.

The one i was looking at is still there !!!!! HOPE YOU GOT WHAT YOU WANTED !!!
Anyone know what model Fulton this thread was about? I've taken my chances and bought two different swap meet visors(not Fulton's) over the last couple years and neither will fit without serious mods, I'd love to know what model visor works with 51-52 roof line the best. If I have to narrow one I would rather do it with a Fulton or other that has the 3 piece with center section to hide trimming down the inside ends.
Mid-fifty carries visors for 53-56 but no love for 48-52... Sure would be nice if a company stepped up to the plate bet they would sell plenty of them, Heck a group buy here would net them some serious scratch.
There are some folks selling re-pop Fulton's for Chebbies on Ebag but that doesn't do us much good
I tried PM'ing arrowheadfred but his PM box is full
