Torque converter

I posted about what i should do to give my 1992 4x4 auto with a 351 a little more get-up for when i lift it. i know what im going to do to the engine, i know what gears im gonna run. i just thought about the tranny. should i upgrade the torque converter? i researched a little bit and i know i can get a good one for under $700. seein as how this is the first auto vehicle i have ever owned, think it would be worth it? if so got suggestions on brands/models?

Depends what you'll use the truck for. A high stall converter certainly won't help you if you're trying to tow, and a mild stall converter could slow you down if you're at the strip.
