Angry vent window replacement?

Hey guys I got a 93 f150 and the other day at ork I accidently locked the key in the truck and I don't know where my spare is so of course I tried the old coat hanker in the vent window and I almost had it but I put a little to much pressure on the vent window and it shattered, now I have key less entry. :-)
My question is are these hard to replace by myself? Safelite wants $250 for just the window not including labor. On lmc truck I seen it for $100 so I might try I myself or go to a junkyard and pull one off

You would have been better just breaking out the entire rear window then taking a chance on the vent windows. It's a lot cheaper, I learned the hard way also. And I looked into doing it myself like you, but after doing research, I paid safelite.

I should have done the back window, cause it is a 1piece and I've always wanted to instal a sliding rear window. Lol...

On those vent windows they look easy justwhat I'm wondering is if i just drill those pivit points out.... I might take the door panel off tomorrow to see how the bottom one comes out. The top I can just replace with a small bolt then if i lock my keys in the truck I just pop that bolt off.... but I shouldn't need to cause I will have some spares made.

Go to a jy and pull one yourself. Its a 10 min job. Ther are 2 screws at the top and then ther are either 2 or 3 bolts behind the door panel. When you get them all out have your side window down and pull the whole wing window frame out.

I had a local glass company replace mine for 75 dollars. My son locked the keys in it and thought maybe I would be pissed if he called and told me so he thought it would be a better idea to bust the "little" window. Boy was he surprised how mad I was.

That sucks. It looks like the glas s is just $20 but for $99 you GT glass with framethe only other thing about the junkyard is I am picky aboutmy stuff.
