Hey Guys,
Just looking for any suggestions....
My 2006 F350, 6.0, 350k miles truck does not warm up. The temp gauge reads right in the middle, always has since I've owned it, but the heater doesn't get warm. So I got out today after about 60 minutes of driving and checked the input and output of the heater core, the upper and lower radiator hoses, and the radiator itself. All were about same temp, AND all were cool enough to hold my hand on. Just WARM
So I figure my thermostat is stuck open....
Any other things might want to look at, or suggestions??
Yeah, I'm looking into guages. Just not sure how to go. I don't want just some handheld scanner, I want something mounted to the dash. But I DON'T want a power programmer. Does anyone make a nice dash or pillar mounted digital type pod that will give all the required info and plug into the OBD port?
If you not getting the hoses how at all replace the thermostat.
The ScanGuage II is a very handy thing to have just program
in the Xguages when you get it and it will help a lot.
