Greasing Joints Question

With my entire suspension being replaced I now have grease fittings in every joint with the exception of the steering knuckle ujoints which are the non greasable type. I checked my manual for a schedule on how often to grease but it's not covered since the truck didn't come with fittings. So I have ball joints x4, u joints x5 (there are 3 on the front shaft with the double cardon joint) and the slip yoke. Got a grease gun and a hose attachment but have two questions.

1. How often do I grease these things?
2. How much grease? Heard some say until grease comes out somewhere, others say be careful over greasing or you will blow the seals.

Thanks for any guidance.

I usually grease my 97 F250 4x4 when I change the oil. I pump until I see or hear, because you can't always see, a tiny bit of grease comming out. Keep a rag handy to wipe things up. Don't forget to get the wheels off the ground. The grease goes into ball joints through the ball cup. If the wheight of the truck is on the ball, it can be hard to get it greased well. Good luck

at oil changes is a good rule of thumb, or once a year I would consider a minimum. I put grease in until it starts to ooze out somewhere then stop.

Every oil change, 2-3 pumps per zerk.

Most areas don't even have zerk fittings now days in fact there isn't one on my truck so greasing is not a thing that needs to be done often. I would say once a year at the most and that is probably unnecessary for most joints. If there is an airtight boot just grease until the boot starts to bulge or otherwise until you see grease starting to ooze out. U-joints can easily go 100k miles without greasing but the front ones (way up front) are subjected to more water and dry out from non-use. All 6 of my u-joints are in good shape, never greased, and have 165k miles on them.

Thanks everyone for the input, have so many zerk fittings on this thing now I wanted to understand how often to do it, I seem to find another one every day. There are also fittings on my end links and rod arm joints. Think I will do every other oil change and since I don't log a lot of miles that is going to end up being 2-3 times a year, depending on how many times that year it treks up to the north woods.

That would be much more than needed but whatever. Keep in mind my truck has 165k miles on it, all those parts have no zerks, and all are in great shape but I did do the ball joints at 130K miles.
