I got a great pair of 1951 Alabama truck tags. They are all so the right county 19 for me all so. I am going to us them on my truck. I have a friend who used some 63 on his car. The state will allow you to put them on. They do not require renewal for 999 years.

999 years? That's great. Can't beat that at all.
I don't think we can register year-of manufacture plates here in Maine unless you get some numbers that aren't currently being used by anyone else. Then you get some new standard plates issued to you with that same number and can use the old plates as long as you have the new ones in the vehicle. Or something like that. The plates have to be renewed every year too.
Lots of folks here display their cars with old plates, I'm looking for a nice matched pair of '51 era Maine plates with some decent numbers and will do that.

Thats cool. in Utah you can use the yom plates but you have to have both plates. I have a couple sets of car plates for my 51 but am looking for truck plates for it.

I found a 52 plate for $5.00 but 52 was a single plate year in Utah so I couldn't use it....

Just yesterday I found this plate.
I'm wondering if they would let me use it on a 51 bed homeade trailer? would be kinda cool even though the plate says "semi-trailer" Wish I could have seen what the trailer it came off of looked like.

Cheers
Josh
