Just installed the carli/bilstein 7100 stabilzer. Steering was somewhat tighter but as expected it pulled to the left. So I hit the valve with 2 very quick hits to release some pressure. Still pulled but not quite as bad. A third VERY quick hit and now the stabilizer is completely discharged and still has a minor pull to the left?!?! Steering is now obviously no better than stock and now I have a minor pull. I can have nitrogen put back in the cylinder but whats the point if its gonna pull harder to the left. Anybody seen this or have any suggestions? Thanks in advance
Same issue here...I'm running around 75lbs and it pulls to the left. I've heard from others on this forum that it shouldn't pull at that level of nitrogen....subscribing.
The only thing I can suggest is getting the stabilizer filled and then take the truck to an alignment shop that knows what they are doing. There has to be something causing the truck to pull and if the stabilizer is out of pressure, I doubt that it is the root of the problem.
Well, I've bumped the pressure up to 80. The steering is tighter. The truck still pulls left. I called bilstein and was informed this was a custom stabilizer made for carli. So I called Carli. They wanted part number and a ratio number off of the actual cylinder. While crawling under the truck to get the ratio number - I noticed the oil/fluid from inside the cylinder was coating the entire outside of the cylinder and piston. I asked carli if this was normal. The guy wanted me to send him pictures. The oil is almost clear. Didnt even know it was there until I grabbed it so its not gonna show in a picture. I have since talked to 3 alignment guys. They had no immediate answers. My Ford dealership ran the alignment numbers yesterday when they serviced it and said it was requiring a 1.5 degree bushing (ford only has up to a 1 degree) and also said that it may cause other problems by trying to adjust that much. I had a 2 inch leveling kit and nitto trail grapplers installed the day before I put the stabilizer in. An alignment was done at that time and everything seemed fine. The problem showed only after the bilstein was installed. So I'm putting the OEM stabilizer back on today to see if there is something else amiss. If not, then I guess the stabilizer is the problem. (which would suck if thats the case)

I've done the exact same thing, removed the bilstein unit and put the stocker back on. It still has a slight pull to the left, but much more mild. I think I need to go back and have the alignment checked. My guess is that the charge on the bilstein stabilizer may be exaggerating the left pull from a mis-alignment.
My 7100 caused the truck to pull as well. I dropped the psi, it was better but still pulled slightly. I left it as is for a while (lazy) and it all went away when I added the bigger (heavier) tires, no more pulling. Alignment is spot on as well (it was within spec before and after the leveling kit/tire install).
I'm sure you or the alignment guy probably already did this but you can check to make sure the air is equal in both of your new front tires. If the left is lower it'll pull.
