Has anyone considered obtaining a lariat interior for an XLT from the scrap yard? I am considering doing this and upgrading my interior in the process. Truck is an 01 with 220k on the odometer. Just want to freshen up the daily driver. Might also consider doing dynamat at the same time and maybe quiet the inside down a little.

Have considered doing this for some time now, but all the prices were well over 1k for seats (crewcab) and door panels. Think for that money, old green would get the dings fixed and a fresh coat of paint first.
I have a connection with a local scrap yard. With that connection, I might be able to get the Lariat interior: Seats, Carpet, and Door Panels for between $800 and $1000. Then the Dynamat, that is were the serious money may have to come into play.

That sounds right on with the quotes I got. From all the ones found, only a few sets looked acceptable. Those leather seats don't stand up so well here in the south texas heat. Especially if they have been sitting in a salvage yard for a while.
Not really sold on the dynamat. A friend did it on his truck a few years ago, along with a fresh undercoat, and said while there was a difference it did not seem worth it.
