Gauge help
I have a 2000 f250 I have a after market exhaust and and chip and a bigger air filter on the truck and I was just want to know if i need gauges and if so what kind should I get any help would be great.

Gauges are a good thing... EGT, trans temp and boost is what most start with, also look into fuel pressure. What kind of chip do you have? Some of the off the shelf programmers and such will create ridiculously high EGT's and trans temps if you tow. This has boost, volts, ICP, throttle position sensor, trans fluid temp, engine oil temp, map, all types of goodies but not the pyro for egt's. It is supposed to also pull codes on the 7.3 but it does not on my 2001.
It'll show any four parameters on the screen that you want.

I'm pretty cheap and just got a transmission temp and egt guages. Boost seems to me to be a nice to know thing and fuel pressure can be checked when and if needed with a mechanical guage...the other stuff, to me, is just nice to know if ya' got money to burn...which I don't
