For those with the Harley Davidson Superduty how does the black leather hold up? Scratches? Fading? Are the seats comfortable? I love the look of both the King Ranch and the Harley Edition.
Just an FYI, but the King Ranch leather will fade, and does mark and scratch somewhat easy, however does feel really good. The seats themselves could use more support on the sides, as you make a turn you tend to get whipped to on side.
I am very happy with the Harley seats! I have had no issues yet with wear or scratching. I did have a seam in the back seat start to unravel a bit... the dealer ordered a replacement and then per Fords request sent mine out to a local leather repair shop for restitching. They did a great job and it looks like the factory should have done! So they sent the replacement one back to Ford... guess they were low on quantity.
I used my truck this summer to travel to Canada, Pacific NorthWest, Colorado & Arizona. We put 15K camping the entire way... and no leather issue so far. I will admit that I have been using some leather care products I p/u from Costco that really make it feel nice and soft.
I don't think you would be disappointed with the Harley interior. I love the black leather, the darker charcoal door panels and interior molding, the dash is awesome, the Harley stuff is not "tacky" like that Lariat "shinny" wood... sorry Lariat owners.
Yup he said Tacky but also said sorry, No need for the sorry as far as i'm concerned. I have a Lariat and i think its real tacky ford using plastic in a $45,000 loaded truck. How cheap is that! looks ugly ,shiny plastic, if thats not tacky what is ? wish they had the harly package when i got mine. Just my 2 cents but guess i can say it cause i own one. to plastic wood.
