I have been saving up to complete three main things in my truck, 6637, exhaust, and chip.
I got the 6637 but with diesel prices it is not easy saving for the other two. So I have decided to convert my truck to WVO. For this I will need two gauges, Veg Oil Temp, and Veg Oil Level.
My question: If I get the four gauge pillar I will only have two extra pods, and I wanted the three “standard” gauges with theses mods; Trans temp, EGT’s, and boost. But I cant, and I don’t really want gauges all over my truck, so what two are the best to have?
If you aren't going to chip it, like Rick said, forget about boost. It will only max out at 16psi probably and will be well within the safety limits of the truck. The other two gauges monitor much more important things.
I am definitely planning on chipping it, I just have to save up a bit. So if boost is the least to worry about I will probably not get that gauge.
I don’t think I want gauges all over the truck like I see some ricer burners, although if I need all of them to keep the truck save I would do it. But I think I"m just going to go for the four gauge pillar pod.
