Ok, well as many of you know we like to spend eachothers money. So help me spend mine. In the next couple weeks here I will be getting gauges, exhaust and hopefully a chip. Now heres where i need help.
Now for the gauges, I will tell you what I'm trying to accomplish and how I can go about it, you give me your opinions. I'm trying to get the usual boost, tranny temp and pyro gauges. Now i can do it these ways
1. Standard 3 gauge pillar pod with standard gauges.
2. standard 3 gauge pillar pod but only put boost and tranny temp gauges along with a dp tuner gauge control for the chip and then put a Auber ins. digital gauge by the wait to start light. (If you dont know what that is, do a search for Richdawgs Auber EGT gauge)
So basically those are the two that I'm thinking of right now. If you got any other ideas, I'm open to them but keep budget in mind lol. If i do #1 i will just get a standard dptuner control and attach it to the lower part of my pillar i think.
I think you'll be happy no matter which way you go. It's probably more of a appearance descision than anything. A lot of guys like the look of the analogs with the OBS.
Are you set on what brand of gauges you are getting, if not aubern? I just ordered my pyro and boost and feel like I got a good deal. They are Isspro. I got the two gauges and triple pod pillar mount for $232.00 delivered. As far as option 1 or 2, I had the same delima on which way to go but decided on the the standard pillar options. For the third gauge I will put a oil temp or dp tuner.
ok cool. my only worry is that it would change too fast and be hard to read where as with a regular gauge the needle moves fast but you know where it is and can read it fairly easy. But if thats not an issue then i dont need to worry about that.
