block heater

Hello all, I have a 1988 f350 7.3 idi c6auto, I was wondering where my block heater would be located, when I purchased the truck it was disconnected and just the plug Comming out of the front, any Intel, pictures would be greatly appreciated, thx

Look on the side of the block above the starter. It should be located where one of the freeze plugs go. If it doesnt seem to be working you should use a meter to ohm the cord and the plug. There are alot of times where the heater is good, but the cord is damaged and needs spliced

Well I just figured they had replaced the cord and didn't hook it back up, imma go look now, thanks alot
