So I was driving to a friends house the other day when I noticed a "Whine" or the sound of of "creaking pirate ship" coming from the front end of my vehicle when I turned left or right. So I automatically thought it was my power steering pump. After some research online, I stumbled across a video and also a step-by-step demonstration on how to "flush" your power steering fluid. I purchased a 3/8's diameter clear tube and 4 qts of Valvololine Mercon V. Ford Super Duty Power Steering Flush | Superdutypsd.com I followed those exact steps.
After I put everything back together I went on a test drive and the steering sounds WORSE! much louder and much more annoying! I was very careful Not to get "air" in the lines but knowing myself I probably did. I recently purchased 315/75r/16 toyo Mt's upgraded from stock f350 tires. also the noise started after i got the new tires but it could be a coincidence.
Do i need pump? should i just fork over the dough to the stealership?
should i run new fluid to make sure air didn't get in?
what happens if air did get in?
thanks guys for reading and helping me out.

Also, the old fluid didn't look that old. It had a good red pretty clear color to it compared to the old played out fluid on the web people had shown .
If you got air into the system, it will work itself out eventually. If you want to help it out, lift the front end off the ground, start the engine, and turn the steering lock to lock many times. Be sure you check the fluid level every few turns.
Air can get in through the fittings as well. Check for seepage on both the pressure and the return hoses. Oil on the outside means air can get in. You could just replace the return hoses if you are so inclined.
