T 500 install

Well I thought I already posted this but cant find it now so here it is again. I bought my T 500 at the end of last year before the went up, but I am just now getting around to puting it in my e99. Just wondering if there are any tips or tricks I need to take into consideration? I have the O ring kit for the fuel bowl and a new IPR to go with it.
thanks for any other info.

Make sure you have a new gasket to go between it and the front cover. And be sure to get the gear on the shaft straight and torque it to the proper spec.

Isn't there a step you have to take to not let the drive gear drop during removal of the old HPOP....I haven't done this job yet but a red flag comes up..

Fill the valley with a few rags to keep the oil contained. It will make it a little easier for clean up. Have new oil for filling the reservoir back up too.

Follow these instructions.

Your other thread is in the OBS section.

There is nowhere for the gear to go. It can't fall

Caverjoe you're going to love that T500 on the e99. I went from ~1400 PSI to well over 3000 at WOT with my DP Tuner.

I do like the new T500 but I have alot of other tired things to address on my 290k motor. just have to figure out what order I want to do it in. Definetly need gauges and a tuner, but also have a spare motor out back I am thinking about getting started on. HMMMMMM
